CoC Combat Divers Addon

Test Mission For Combat Divers

Frogmen are amongst the most illustrious of modern combat units in the Special Operations field. It's no wonder names like "Navy SEAL" and "Special Boat Squadron" bring to mind images of daring reconnaissance, rescue, and sabotage missions, deep within enemy territory, deploying from land, sea, or air. The Chain of Command is currently working to bring you a fully functional combat diver for Operation Flashpoint.

Features

The Chain of Command's mission is "To Develop a dynamic and realistic battlefield for platoon/company/battalion-sized conflicts within Operation Flashpoint by advancing the Operation Flashpoint game engine to its max." Picking up on Walker's original wetsuit-addon, the combat diver will have all the characteristics of a "normal" SpecOps unit. Combat divers however are trained in deployment using the LAR VII rebreather. Using this man-packed breathing-equipment, they can approach any shore unnoticed. After getting on land, they will be able to put the rebreather in a safe spot, or carry it with them during the mission.

Open Swimming Standard

The Chain of Command is working hard to design an open standard for any swimming equipment. This standard will enable both addon- and mission-makers to fully exploit the benefits of  this diving equipment, or any future equipment that has yet to be made.

We are currently collaborating with Col. Klink, to make sure that we keep open as much possibilities as possible. In the future, you may expect not only to see other diving-equipment, but also some revolutionary new life-saving equipment for vehicle operators based on this open standard!
